All types of sand extraction, transportation, etc. from Nalitabari Upazila are completely illegal
Details

Effective from sunrise on April 14, 2025 (Pohela Boishakh, 1432 Bangla Year), all 'Balu-Mohal' within Nalitabari Upazila have been officially abolished.

Consequently, any extraction, transportation, purchase, or sale of sand from this upazila is strictly prohibited and deemed illegal.

All transport workers and laborers are hereby cautioned not to involve themselves in any activities related to sand transportation from Nalitabari, regardless of personal gain.

This matter will be closely monitored, and anyone found in violation will be apprehended and dealt with according to the law.
